Fall tourist season in St. Pete has kicked into high gear for Darwin Winters, pet psychic, but that doesn’t stop her from getting tangled up in a new murder investigation. Rose Faraday, a gypsy fortune teller, has succumbed to a rattlesnake bite in her own condo. After a run-in with the victim’s traumatized cat, Darwin knows it was no freak accident. Can she
find a way to prove it? Or will the killer get lucky and get away with murder?

What would my pet say if she could talk? Today she’d be saying, “Noooooo mommy, I don’t want my ears cleaned!” 🙂 She hates ear cleaning day.
Ha! Love it Marcy! Mine would be complaining about the toe nail clipping for sure! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
“Belly rub and carrots, and step on it.” 😉
Congrats on your latest release, Shannon! WOOT! Can’t wait to be a proud owner.
Thanks & hope you love the book, August!
After my cats congratulated you on your latest mystery and praised theimage of the cat on the cover, they’d yawn and go back to sleep.
LOL! Your cats have refined taste in book covers 🙂
My dogs would say, “Thank you, Mommy, for rescuing us and giving us everything we could possibly want. Now, do you really expect us to sleep in those poofy little beds on the floor? We prefer the couch, thank you.”
At least it’s not the bed…LOL! Thanks for the support, dear friend.
Congrats on the new release, Shannon! What a cute cover!
Thank you, Jennette. My artist is fabulous and a talented writer…I encourage readers to check out her books: India Drummond!
Congratulations on your release day, Shannon. I love your cover and am looking forward to reading your book. 🙂
Congrats Shannon! If my pets could talk what would they say? The Lab would ask for bacon, the Belgian would ask for more bacon, the cats would tell me to sit down and make a lap so they can nap. The chickens would simply cluck disparagingly. Chickens aren’t long on conversation. Way to go on the release party and here’s to lots and lots of sales for you!
Bacon is like doggie crack, isn’t it? You have pet chickens? Fresh eggs, yum.

Congratulations on your new release, Shannon! Sounds like a fun read. Hope you sell millions!
Thanks, Lynn! I hope it’s as fun to read as it was to write 🙂
I think my pet would say, “More steak, please!”
That implies you give them steak? Lucky animal 🙂
My daughter’s parrot can talk!! It sneezes and then blesses itself, among a few other things. Her two turtles however, would probably each complain that they have to share their aquarium with the other one.
p.s. a pet novel set around here?? Cool!!
Hi Andrew, a very talented parrot you have in your family! Are you near St. Pete? Just love that place 🙂
What would my pets say? The cats would all say “feed me” The dogs would say “play with me” 😉
Great cover!
